EDG 3620 Curriculum and Instruction

This course is an introduction to major concepts, assumption, debates, processes of injury, and ways of knowing within the school curriculum. Pre-service teachers create coherent, meaningful learning experiences using the major philosophical theories of education to develop learners' competence in subject mater knowledge. Pre-service teachers evaluate the suitability of content against learners' intellectual, social, emotional, and physical characteristics.
