Students in the Dental Lab Technology and Management (DLT) Program pursue an A.A.S. Degree and upon completion can become eligible to take the series of exams from the National Board for Certification to become a Certified Dental Technician. Students accepted into the program receive a strong, well rounded general education with an emphasis on dental lab skills which enables them to construct complete dentures, partial dentures, full cast crowns and bridges, ceramic restorations, and orthodontic appliances from dentists’ written prescriptions. The program consists of classroom, online, and laboratory instruction and laboratory practice. The DLT program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
