RTE 1111 Patient Care for Radiologic Sciences
In this course, students gain an overview of patient care in the radiologic sciences by studying their roles and responsibilities in the health care setting. Students learn about various topics including professionalism, communication techniques, patient safety techniques, evaluating patient health, infection control practices, responding to medical emergencies, accommodating traumatic injuries, drug classifications, and contrast agents. These topics are reinforced with the lab and clinical components of the radiography program.
