BCN 2275 Plans Interpretation - Commercial

In this course students explore reading and interpreting symbols found on commercial and light industrial blueprints. Building materials, structural concepts, handicap requirements, types of drawings, foundation systems, symbols, and conventions are investigated. Students examine differences between steel-frame and reinforced-concrete buildings as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing features.
