EET 2547C Transformers and Power Distribution

In this course, students learn a comprehensive overview of transformer operation, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting. Students also learn about components and devices used to distribute power and how to protect major elements involved in power distribution. The curriculum includes the uses and maintenance of fuses, circuit breakers, reclosures, and relay coordination; how to protect against lightning and other abnormal conditions; and the protection of transformers, motors, and generators.
