HSC 1653 Healthcare Ethics
In this course, students review healthcare ethics, the roles of the health team members, and the basic skills necessary for success in a health career. Students reflect on the concepts of self-assessment, self-compassion, informed consent, doctor-patient relationships, responsibilities of healthcare managers, patient dignity and confidentiality, and disclosing healthcare information to a patient’s family.
