STS 1380C Central Service Fundamentals

In this course, students learn and apply the concepts, principles, and procedures of the central service department. The topics include professional behavior and communication, basic science and technology, infection control, wrapping techniques, methods of disinfection, decontamination, and sterilization, and fundamentals of procurement and inventory control.
