HIM 1222 Basic ICD-9 Coding (O)

This course teaches the use of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-9). This includes the coding of diseases, operations, and their relationship to the reimbursement for health care treatment in hospitals and physicians' offices. Coding conventions, sequencing, and rules for correct coding are introduced.
