HIM 2506 Quality Assessment (O)
This course teaches the application of quality assurance, quality improvement, utilization management, risk management, recredentialing, and infection control to health information management. Tools for improving the quality of patient care and services rendered are studied including analysis of records and identification of inconsistencies, omissions, or patient care problems through screening mechanisms. Lab fee $20.
