HFT 2500 Marketing & Sales in the Hospitality Industry
Students develop marketing campaigns for business within the hospitality industry. Emphasis is on analysis of market; competition and product; planning a financial budget; and developing short-term and long-range strategies to achieve desired profit through effective advertising, sales, and public relations planning. Specifically, this course focuses on the techniques and analysis of effectiveness of marketing within the industry, decision-making processes for product/service development, advertising, pricing, and promotion.
