LIT 2030 Introduction to Poetry
This is an introduction to poetry from the Renaissance to the present with a focus on major themes and periods, recognition of the major themes of particular poets, and analysis of techniques used in representative works of poetry. Students demonstrate college-level writing skills through multiple assignments. Gordon Rule course - must achieve a grade of "C" or higher for the A.A. Degree.

ENC 1101 with a grade of "C" or higher, or permission of instructor and student must score into college-level reading on placement test.
