MUY 2100 Humanities: Music and Music Therapy
This course provides educational resources for the general student population and community participants on the fundamentals of music history, careers in music and an overview of therapeutic advances in music therapy in order to create an in depth awareness of available resources and a better understanding of music in society. Students demonstrate college-level writing skills through multiple assignments and are required to give oral presentations of a specific music or music therapy related topic. Gordon Rule course - must achieve a grade of ''C'' or higher for the A.A. Degree.
