EMS 2601C Paramedic I

This course provides introductory-level instruction in advanced life support emphasizing the theory and skills required to recognize, assess, plan, and comprehensively manage acutely ill or injured patients. Students participate in a combination of classroom discussions and scenario-based skills lab practice and application as well as physical conditioning. Requires admission to the Paramedic program. Students must possess valid driver's license, Florida EMT lincensure and healthcare provider CPR certification throughout the entire program. Lab fee $250. Insurance fee $28.
