IDS 1110 The Pursuit of Knowledge
This course teaches the nature of knowledge acquisition throughout the liberal arts curriculum and is required as an orientation course for all students entering the Honors Program. The course is taught by a team of Honors Faculty drawn from the Humanities, the Social Sciences, and the Natural Sciences/Mathematics. The fundamental goal of the course is to help students appreciate the interconnectedness of knowledge across the entire range of academic disciplines. Students demonstrate college-level writing skills through multiple assignments. Gordon Rule course - must achieve a grade of "C" or higher for the A.A. Degree. Student must be accepted into the Honors Program.
