Requirements for graduation from the Bachelor of Science Degree in Exceptional Student Education with Reading and ESOL Endorsements are:

Satisfactory completion of all three (3) parts of the Florida Teacher Certification Exam (FTCE).

Students must achieve a cumulative GPA of not less than a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale in all courses attempted (including transfer hours, but, excluding college preparatory courses) and in all courses attempted at Indian River State College.

Successful completion of Student Teaching (MAE 4945, EEX 4940, EDE 4940, or SCE 4941).

All Baccalaureate Education majors must achieve a grade of "C" or better in all content area courses within their declared Program of Study. Content area courses for Exceptional Student Education with ESOL majors are exceptionalities courses. Thus, a grade of "C" or higher is required for EEX 3103, EEX 4221, EEX 4601, EEX 4264, EEX 4265.

Also required: Completion of all lower-division state-mandated common prerequisites including the three (3) Education prerequisites: EDF 2005, EDF 2085, EME 2040 as well as EEX 2010.
