DTE 1107 Partial Denture Theory (N)
This course emphasizes the concepts of removable partial denture construction. Topics include nomenclature; identification of classifications of partial denture frame designs; components of frames, including, including clasps and their design, major and minor connectors, indirect retainers, retention grids, and rests; types of materials used in construction and fabrication; equipment utilized for fabrication, surveying, methods of cast reproduction, investing and casting metal alloys; tooth selection; relines; and repairs.
