EMS P551 Advanced Cardiac Life Support (N)
This course is a 16-hour education program for healthcare providers developed by the American Heart Association. The course focuses on recognition and initial care of unstable adult patients and also provides training in the management of adults who have already suffered arrest. ACLS certification is a requirement for paramedic licensure in the State of Florida and certification by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Requires current advanced healthcare licensure or certification, or completion of or enrollment in an advanced healthcare education program, or permission of the instructor.
