MLT 1525 Immunohematology (Blood Bank)
This course studies immunohematology principles and standard techniques used in blood banking: ABO, RH typing antibody screening, and compatibility testing. The emphasis is on appropriate collection, handling, and testing of specimens in the area of blood banking. Technical problems, identification of antibodies, and blood component preparation and storage are studied.
