STS V155C Surgical Techniques and Procedures (N)

This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to function as a surgical technologist in the operating room, including principles of aseptic techniques; correct scrubbing, gowning and gloving, draping methods; correct handling of specimens; care and counting of sponges, sharps and instruments.

Acceptance into the Surgical Technology program required.

Lab fee $50.
