PAD 4414 Public Personnel Management

This course introduces students to the field of public personnel management. Topics discussed include job design and analysis, performance management, planning, staffing, training and development, compensation and incentive systems, merit and civil service, employee and labor relations, managing a diverse workforce, and volunteer management.
