Attendance

Regular class attendance is required at Indian River State College. Students are expected to adhere to the requirements set by each instructor. Those requirements are printed in the course syllabus. Students who do not complete the requirements to verify participation and/or attendance during the first week of the class will be dropped for non-attendance. For online classes, refer to the course syllabus in Blackboard regarding what constitutes attendance. Students who receive financial aid or veterans benefits should refer to the Financial Aid section of this catalog for further information on attendance and how attendance impacts financial aid.
