The Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration is designed to prepare students for various positions in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. The program emphasizes practical skills, ethical decision-making, and strategic leadership, equipping graduates to address complex challenges within organizations. Students can choose from two specialized concentrations: Public Policy & Leadership, and Emergency Management & Planning.
Requirements for graduation from the Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration are:

Students must successfully complete 120 credit hours of college-level courses in the degree program, including the lower-division Associate Degree and 42 hours of specified Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration coursework.

Students must achieve a cumulative GPA of not less than 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in all courses attempted (including transfer hours, but excluding college preparatory courses) and in all courses attempted at Indian River State College.
