CSP 0010 Nail Specialist (N)

In this course, students develop the fundamental knowledge and practical skills needed to perform professional nail care services. Students explore nail anatomy and physiology, practice sanitation and infection control procedures, and apply manicure and pedicure techniques, including nail shaping, cuticle care, massage, and polish application. Students are introduced to nail enhancements, product knowledge, and the proper use of tools and equipment. Emphasis is placed on safety, client consultation, professional communication, and compliance with state cosmetology laws and regulations. Through hands-on training, students build technical proficiency and prepare for employment in the nail care industry.
