EET 1180C Troubleshooting and Repair Techniques
Students learn the basic principles of proper troubleshooting techniques and repair of electronic equipment throughout this course. Students review of DC and AC theory, diode, transistor, op-amp, and logic circuits. Students review the function and operation of electronic test equipment as they apply to the troubleshooting process. Students create or fix a variety of circuits and prepare a report that details their troubleshooting experience. The report may include schematic capture, LTSPICE circuit simulation, breadboard photos, breadboard performance verification, solder board floor planning, soldering the complete circuit, and final performance verification.
