Students gain the knowledge and skills to recognize hazardous situations in industrial plants and the precautions to be observed and practiced to perform work activities safely. The topics covered include industrial safety hazards, electrical safety, working with chemicals, gases, solvents, protective equipment, and safe working conditions.
