MAT 1033 Intermediate Algebra
Students solve a variety of mathematical problems across the following topics: factoring, algebraic fractions, radical and rational equations, complex numbers, quadratic equations, rational equations, linear equations, and inequalities in two variables and their graphs, systems of linear equations and inequalities, and introduction to functions.

Prerequisites
For non-exempt students
MAT 0028 with a grade of "C" or higher, or
MAT 0055 with grade of "S", or placement scores.
