MEA 0200C Medical Assisting Clinical Procedures I (N)

In this course, students explore the phases of patient care in the clinical areas of a physician's office. Students study the basic principles related to effective communication, safety, legal/ethical issues, infection control, vital signs, physical examination, diet therapy, patient communication, and legal-ethical concepts. Students learn the anatomy and physiology of the human body, general pharmacological concepts, and principles in the management of patient care.
