NUR 1034C Health-Illness-Concepts 2

In this course, students assimilate the concepts within the domains of nursing, health, situation, and person. Students learn the concepts and skills necessary to provide basic nursing care and health maintenance in a variety of settings. Focus is on basic physiological integrity and maternal newborn care of clients. Students engage in clinical experiences with clients across the lifespan.

Prerequisites

NUR 1021C, BSC 2085, BSC 2085L, or BSC 2093, BSC 2093L, or ZOO 3733, ZOO 3733L; BSC 2086, BSC 2086L or BSC 2094, BSC 2094L, or PCB 4701, PCB 4701L; and HUN 1201, PSY 2012, MAC 1105, MGF 1130, STA 2023, or MAC 2311 all with a grade of "C" or higher
