DTE 2150 Crown and Bridge Theory (N)
This course emphasizes the concepts and nomenclature of elementary full cast metal single crowns and multiple unit bridge restoration fabrication. Topics include goals and types of fixed restorations; types of margin preparations; provisional restorations; infection control; critiquing impressions; model construction and preparation; articulation; waxing techniques; investing, burnout, casting, finishing, and polishing restorations; preparing for delivery to the dentist; and repairs of crown and bride restorations.
