CJK 0355 Legal for Correctional Officers (N)

In this course students learn the legal principles governing correctional operations. Emphasis is placed on constitutional law, inmate rights, and the legal responsibilities of correctional officers. Topics include use of force, liability, civil rights, and the application of laws and agency policies to ensure lawful and professional conduct.
