RTE 2553L Radiographic Procedures V Lab
In this course, students apply the principles from RTE 2553 by demonstrating knowledge and skill in performing sterile tray set-up, vital signs, venipuncture, and trauma positioning. Students practice these skills on each other in a controlled lab setting. Trauma scenarios are provided and students correctly position and image phantoms to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students continue to demonstrate proper identification of anatomical landmarks, radiation safety, proper patient care, and communication skills.
