Placement Testing

Indian River State College strongly encourages all students to take advantage of placement testing to ensure appropriate placement into developmental or college-level courses in English, reading, and math. The P.E.R.T. is administered by Indian River State College for this purpose.

Required placement scores and exemptions to placement testing are listed on https://irsc.edu/admissions/pert-test.html and outlined in Section 1008.30, Florida Statues.  The P.E.R.T. is offered at each campus.
