Respiratory Care

The A.S. Degree program in Respiratory Care trains students in the use of medical gases, medication, aerosols, chest physiotherapy, airway management, mechanical ventilation, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The program includes classroom lecture, lab experiences, and clinical experience at local hospitals. The Respiratory Care program at IRSC is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), in collaboration with the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
